Not exactly sure what river this was of. This was in the middle of nowhere, at Shenandoah national park in Virginia (I live near there). If I had to take a guess though, it would be the rose river.
Was trying out my new "rose" colored filter (Thus the high level of red you may pick up on), and it does an awesome job bringing out the reds and yellows, perfect for fall! This picture actually has very little fall it in, but I like the way the water looks in this one, so I am posting it anyway. This intense color is with almost NO editing at all, and just a little bit of sharpening. Awesome eh?

I really like the contrast and how it feels more subtle than anything, if that makes sense.
The spot itself is brilliant. I like how you've sort of centred it, although a different way of framing it would have been interesting?
Part of me feels that it could be turned into a black and white piece, and yet... eh.
